Density Information

Hey All,

I have been looking into density in terms of finding out how it relates to transportation distances. I though it would be pretty useful information for everyone though in terms of helping decide housing, land structure, etc. You can go to this site http://factfinder.census.gov/servlet/GCTTable?_bm=y&-ds_name=DEC_2000_SF1_U&-CONTEXT=gct&-mt_name=DEC_2000_SF1_U_GCTPH1_US25&-redoLog=false&-_caller=geoselect&-geo_id=&-format=US-10|US-10S&-_lang=en or just take my word for it and note that:

density in the US - 80 people per sq. mi.
metropolitan density - 320 people per sq. mi.

*suburban density is about 35% that of metropolitan (from different site) so that puts suburban density (the number we are trying to beat) around 115 people per sq. mi.

Thanks!

Thanks Dale!! Glad we are up and running.
